Loofah Sponge (Luffa)
Loofah is a gourd, in the same family as a cucumber or squash. Mature fruits develop a fibrous body that can be processed into a sponge.
5” bath sponge, unless otherwise noted. Bright and clean, trimmed, and well-preserved.
“Dish Sponge” is a “b or c grade” sponge. Dark coloration and/or odd shape.
“Whole-unprocessed” = dried gourd, unpeeled, with seeds in it. Will need to be peeled and cleaned before use
