Thank you for your support.
We raised over $1,350 toward our goal!
Read below to learn how we use these funds to improve food access in our community.
Together we can make a difference.
For the past five years, Trefoil Gardens has partnered with Wholesome Wave Georgia’s Fresh for Less program to double SNAP/EBT dollars (“food stamps”) at the Woodstock Farmers’ Market. With their generous support, we can double the value of EBT for shoppers purchasing fresh, healthy, locally grown produce and other qualifying products. With over 20 participating vendors at the market, this free and voluntary program has served dozens of families in Cherokee County and put money directly in the hands of local farmers and producers.
We believe it is imperative to support food access in our community.
As part of our commitment to support our neighbors and fellow vendors, Trefoil Gardens has administered this program since its inception and covered all of the associated costs.
Now, we are asking for help from YOU, our community, to help expand this program. We are dedicating more time and resources to reaching the 15,000 people in Cherokee County who receive SNAP benefits and ensuring those dollars stay in our community while supporting local farmers.
“The farmers market doesn't just support families, but also the farmers and healthy lifestyles too.”

About Wholesome Wave Georgia
Wholesome Wave Georgia (WWG) makes fresh, healthy, locally-grown produce affordable and available to Georgians in need through partnerships with over 100 statewide partners, such as farmers markets, farm stands, brick-and-mortar retailers, and healthcare providers. WWG has facilitated more than $5.5 million in economic impact via spending at partner sites since 2009 by matching the value of SNAP/EBT (commonly referred to as food stamps) on fruit and vegetable purchases. That means families who spend $10 using SNAP/EBT receive $20 of locally-grown food. Alongside healthcare partners, Wholesome Wave Georgia also provides food prescriptions that make locally-grown food free for participants, which comes with healthy lifestyle coaching. Additionally, Wholesome Wave Georgia offers SNAP benefits assistance through free screenings, enrollments and renewals so that everyday Georgians can access resources they need.
