In addition to a lifetime of gardening and 10+ years of professional farming, Rob holds an Associate of Horticulture with certifications in Landscape Design and Horticulture from Chattahoochee Technical School.
He is a Georgia Certified Landscape Professional and Plant Professional, and has completed the Georgia Journeyman Farmer, Beekeeping, and Egg Candling certificate programs.
He has taught Organic Farming and Apiary Studies at both the College and University level, and holds a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Permaculture Institute.
Before he became a professional farmer, Rob worked for years in the Georgia Green Industry, designing and installing landscape construction projects for custom builders and homeowners, often working with design review boards and other challenging governing bodies.

He spent many years before that working various trades, from signs and graphics, to construction, to light industrial work, offering a well-rounded background and ability to understand complex construction elements and develop creative solutions to challenges that inevitably arise in “bespoke” projects.
